to build lasting relationships with your peers, make unforgettable memories, and ultimately make your college experience a little less intimidating and a lot more exciting. Delta Zeta is proudly
one of nine sororities on Eastern Illinois University's campus. Nationally, we were founded in 1902 and have been dedicated to empowering women to become leaders, global citizens, lifelong
learners, and to give graciously ever since. The women of Delta Zeta Sorority share a common purpose to make a difference in our corner's of the world. We desire to make life fuller, more
meaningful, and more rewarding. As stated in the Constitution of the Delta Zeta Sorority, Article II, Sections 1 and 2:
"The purpose of this sorority shall be to unite its members in the bonds of sincere and lasting friendship, to stimulate one another in the pursuit of knowledge, to promote the moral and social
culture of its members, and to develop plans for guidance and unity in action; objects worthy of the highest aim and purpose of associated effort."
